Friday was very relaxing. I ended up walking to yoga from work (~3 miles) and then after yoga curled up into my bed and finished off season 3 of Orange is the New Black. Can season 4 be here already?
Saturday, I managed to make myself run a quick 10k before heading up to Massachusetts for my family’s annual Father’s day BBQ. It was great seeing everyone but the weather was pretty lousy aka rain, rain, and more rain. Unfortunately, my phone died so I didn’t get any photos from the BBQ. I really need to make an effort to go up and see them more.
Sunday was yoga for the Solstice in Times Square
And Sunday evening I spent some time walking around Central Park with my friend, Yalda. I think I need to make a habit of Central Park Sundays.

It was great. I went last year too. There is something just so amazing about being in such a busy spot yet finding such quiet inner peace. I know that sounds corny but it’s true (at least for me). We were very lucky too because the weather forecast wasn’t looking to hot but the weather ended up being beautiful.
